Smash Cake Session

She was not a big fan of cake for her first time. I really thought she would have a great time getting it all over herself and eating  it, but she didn't. She didn't really even want it on her. She ate at one little spot on the cake and even then I had to help put it in her mouth. She liked it once it was in her mouth, but she didn't like doing it herself.  Connor enjoyed helping her eat some after we were finished with the pictures.

The North Pole Express

We took Connor and Kaylee to the North Pole Express on Friday night.  It was pouring rain the whole drive there. Our tickets were for 8:00. When we got there, we learned that the train was running an hour behind and that a generator had gone out on the train so that meant that the power was out. They were handing out glow sticks and they said they had lanterns and extra elves and that the kids probably wouldn’t even notice anything was any different. Connor didn’t know any different and he had a blast, wet and dark and all!

Alfie - Days 1-7

Alfie came to stay with us on December 1 to watch over Connor and report to Santa at night how Connor has been behaving. Alfie has also been having a little bit of fun too!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Kaylee's First Time Seeing Santa

Kaylee saw Santa for the first time a couple of weeks ago and she was not scared at all! I remember when Connor saw him for the first time he was terrified and he cried, but not Kaylee =)  She just sat right up there and was just as content as could be.

11 Months

Kaylee is 11 months and thinks she's grown! I'm a little late on my post, but she is walking all over the place now! Right at 11 months she was taking several steps in a row before falling, but now she can really move! Over Thanksgiving weekend she really made progress. She can say "momma" and "dadda"  and "uh oh".  She loves to eat! She wants to eat anytime anyone else is eating. She still does not have any teeth yet. She is most definitely a momma's girl but she loves for her daddy to put her to bed at night.
